It looks like Kendrick Lamar is filming another music video from his latest album DAMN. A video from a Rihanna fan site seems to confirm that the rapper has begun shooting a video for his Rihanna collaboration “Loyalty.” This would make the third visual to accompany the album, following “Humble” and “DNA”.

The account tweeted a video from the shoot on Saturday (June 10). It appears to show a blindfolded Lamar surrounded by scantily dressed women.

Check it out below.

Sia’s ‘Free Me’ Video With Zoe Saldana Promotes #endHIV Campaign

by Malachi Weaver June 9, 2017
written by Malachi Weaver

Sia just revealed her new “Free Me” video, starring Zoe Saldana and Julianne Moore. The song will benefit the #endHIV campaign.

The Blake Martin-directed clip features choreography from Ryan Heffingtonn and narration from Julianna Moore, beginning with Saldana in a doctor’s office. Moore describes Saldana’s character as “an expecting mother, a daughter, a friend,” but then drops that “she’s about to learn that HIV has taken hold of her body, attacking her immune system and if left untreated will be passed on to the baby growing inside her.”

The video then becomes interpretive as Saldana begins to work through the news. Dancers move to the piano-led ballad as Sia sings along: “Free me, free me/ from this pain I’ve been running from.

All proceeds from “Free Me” will be donated to the #endHIV campaign. The campaign is working with the Abzyme Research Foundation “on a promising solution to the HIV/AIDS pandemic” seeking FDA approval and looking to begin human clinical trials.

Watch Victoria’s Secret Models Lip Sync David Guetta and Justin Bieber’s New Song ‘2U’

by Malachi Weaver June 9, 2017
written by Malachi Weaver

David Guetta and Justin Bieber released their new song “2U” today and along with it came a music video featuring Victoria’s Secret models lip-syncing to the track.

The video stars models Ella Hosk, Jasmine Tookers, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell, and Marth Hunt – all of whom Bieber mentioned in a tweet earlier this week without giving any explanation – in what appears to be behind the scenes of a Victoria’s Secret photo shoot.

Guetta spoke to MTV UK about “2U”, calling it “a very romantic love song.” “What I’m trying to do here is a combination of emotional parts and the energy of crazy electronic dance beats. That’s what I do, and that’s what I like. I like making the people dance, but with a tear in their eyes.”

He also added that he would like to have a second music video without the Victoria’s Secret girls. “It’s amazing to have the Victoria’s Secrets girls, but I also wanted something that’s not branded, you know? But this is amazing; I’m very flattered that they’re doing this.”

DJ Khaled Stars in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ NBA Finals Teaser

by Malachi Weaver June 8, 2017
written by Malachi Weaver

Spider-Man: Homecoming finally got the DJ Khaled treatment last night when a teaser for the movie featuring the artist aired during the NBA finals.

The promo clip begins with Khaled waiting in line at a convenience store when Tom Holland’s Spider-Man character bumps into him. “You’re DJ Khaled,” the surprised web-slinger begins, and Khaled accordingly responds “You’re Spider-Man! What’re you doing here?”

Spider-man tells Khaled that he is on his way to an NBA Finals watch party, which Khaled knows is hosted by Tony Stark (Iron Man) – because he is going there too.

Right after, when two women standing by the counter ask for a picture, Khaled is surprised to see that they want him to take the picture of them with Spidey, instead of the other way around. Khaled gets to show off his photography skills, using his signature catchphrase, “another one”, every time he took another picture.

Khaled’s next album, Grateful, is set for release later this month and promises a slew of exemplary features. The album’s second single – “I’m the One” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chace The Rapper, and Lil Wayne – has already gone platinum. The third single, “To the Max,” with Drake, was released Monday morning, and Khaled has since teased more collaborations with Rihanna, Bryson Tiller, Nas, and Travis Scott. Both Jay-Z and Beyoncé should also be on the album, as they performed on the first single, “Shining”.

Kyle Performs iSpy on MTV: Watch

by Malachi Weaver June 7, 2017
written by Malachi Weaver

Kyle recently sat down for an interview with MTV, being their Push: Artist to Watch for the month of June, to talk about his stylistic changes as a rapper and to perform his hit song “iSpy.”

“When I first started rapping, I just rapped about what I was taught to rap about. You know, guns, packs, big booties… things like that,” Kyle told MTV. “I was making this one song, and what I had just written was so unbelievably not me that I rapped it and laughed.”

Kyle told MTV that he realized that the traditional rapper mold didn’t fit him, and instead decided to embrace his own “goofy” side.

“I dropped my rapper voice — the voice that’s not really mine — and I heard this voice come out that was just real in that moment,” he said. “I heard it when I played it back, and I was like, that part right there is tight. I was like, I need to do everything with this type of energy from now on… it’s the type of energy I gotta put in all my songs because I feel like it was the way I would just come across authentic.”

The rapper then went on to perform his song “iSpy”, even rapping over Lil Yachty’s verse and occasionally pausing to Milly Rock. Watch the performance below and see MTV’s full profile on Kyle here.
