Chris Blue, winner of the 12th season of NBC’s The Voice, has debuted on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart at No. 1. Blue’s version of Tamela Mann’s “Take Me to the King” sold 30,000 copies.

Blue won The Voice this past Tuesday, competing for coach Alicia Key’s team.

Blue first performed “Take Me to the King” on The Voice’s May 15 episode. His cover is only the seventh song to debut at No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart and the first since Kirk Franklin’s “Wanna Be Happy?” in September of 2015.

Aliyah Moulden, who finished third on season 12 of The Voice, also made a debut on the charts, coming in at No. 4 on the Hot Christian Songs chart. Moulden covered MercyMe’s 2003 “I Can Only Imagine” on the show’s May 15 episode. The song also went No. 1 on the Christian Digital Song Sales chart.
