Urban Outfitters Accidentally Sells Halsey’s New Album Early Again

by Malachi Weaver

Back in 2015 Urban Outfitters accidentally began shipping Halsey’s debut album Badlands weeks before it was suppose released. The unhappy Halsey tweeted at the company “What kind of company are you?” once the company also began selling the album in stores three days before its official release.

Two years later, Halsey and Urban Outfitters are back in the same situation. The singer tweeted back in April that a limited edition version of her newest album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, would be sold exclusively in Urban Outfitters:

However, Urban Outfitters has slipped up again and has already started selling Hopeless Fountain Kingdom in stores. The album is not due to be released until Friday.

Halsey’s label, Astralwerks, does not seem happy about the early release.

Halsey has not commented on the situation yet.
