Miley Cyrus and Converse Team Up For ‘Pride Collection’

by Malachi Weaver

Miley Cyrus and Converse are teaming up in honor of Pride Month to create and promote their new Converse Pride Collection.

Converse created 22 new designs for their famed Chuck Taylors All-Star model, all with theme and motto “YES TO ALL” in support of LGBTQ+ youth. On their website, Converse writes that “Whatever your gender, orientation, identity, Converse believes everyone is free to be whoever they are.” The brand will donate all of their net proceeds from the collection to the It Gets Better Project and The Happy Hippie Foundation – a nonprofit founded by Cyrus in support of homeless LGBTQ+ youth.

Cyrus announced her partnership on Instagram yesterday (June 11), just before taking the stage at the Capital Pride DC Festival. She posted three pictures of her wearing the collection with the caption “Yassss! I’m teaming up w @converse ! I ❤️ the #Pride collection supporting the LGBTQ community! Thank u for joining the @happyhippiefdn family and helping us continue our fight for equality & justice! #YesToAll !”
