With the Atlanta Falcons heading to Super Bowl LI on Saturday (Feb. 5), a petition via Change.org has circulated online asking the NFL to replace Lady Gaga with the Atlanta group Migos as the halftime act.
“Halftime should be Migos killing Bad and Boujee,” the petition reads. “Future kills em with March Madness, then Outkast comes out and does an AQUEMINI sampler and then they end it with BUN B and JAY Z DOING BIG PIMPIN!!!! If you’re gonna put on a show for billions THIS IS THE ONLY SHOW.”
At the time of publishing (Jan. 30), the petition has over 55,000 signatures – only about 19,000 shy of the 75,000 goal.
In an interview with Music Choice, Migos endorsed the hypothetical show. “I didn’t know it was real and people got signatures,” said Quavo. “Let’s do it. We’re ready to f—ing perform.”
