Linkin Park’s ‘One More Light’ Makes Sixth No. 1 Album

by Malachi Weaver

Linkin Park’s One More Light debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, earning the band their 6th No. 1 album.

The album was pushed to the top by its 111,000 copies sold – 100,000 of which were traditional copies. Linkin Park has not debuted a No. 1 album since 2012 with Living Things. Their 2014 The Hunting Party peaked at No. 3.

Only four other rock band have earned six No. 1’s: Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, and The Eagles. Led Zeppelin (7), U2 (7), The Rolling Stones (9) and The Beatles (19) are the only bands to have more than six.
