Last month, Kendrick Lamar surprised everyone with “The Heart Part 4” – the comeback single that came with a warning:
“Y’all got till April the 7th to get y’all s–t together.”
On April 7th came news of a new album, to be released April 14 and titled DAMN. Lamar shared the album’s artwork on Instagram, as well as the album’s tracklist.
According to the tracklist, DAMN. will have only two features: Rihanna on “Loyalty,” and U2 on “XXX.” Online preorders confirm a third feature from Zacari on the track “Love.” KAYTRANADA also tweeted (and deleted) that he provides uncredited vocals on “Lust.”
Lamar’s announcement debunks the alleged tracklist that circulated the Internet in March, which claimed that the upcoming album would have features from the likes of Andre 3000 and Kanye West.
While “The Heart Part 4” will not appear on DAMN., Lamar’s most recent single – “Humble” will. Watch the video for “Humble” below.
