Two years after his last release, Ed Sheeran has released two new singles. Sheeran has been previewing the new songs, “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill”, on social media since January 1.
Before this, Sheeran had not released a new song since “Photograph,” which came out in May of 2015. Sheeran took responsibility for his absence in the Instagram post where he announced the two singles.
“Cause I’ve been away for a bit here’s two singles rather than one – Castle On The Hill & Shape Of You,” Sheeran wrote.
