Statistics graduates at the University of California, Berkeley were given a surprise performance by DJ Khaled at their commencement ceremony yesterday (May 18).
Commencement speaker Steve Stoute finished his speech leaving students with “…and here is your gift today.” The stunned students barely had time to react before Khaled came out asking everybody to put their hands up.
Khaled then gave the students a pep talk about how at once “they” didn’t believe in him, but now he’s on stage with “young kings and queens and a generation of geniuses.” He followed that with his signature “They don’t want us to graduate, so we ‘gon graduate.”
