The world’s largest music promoter, Live Nation, is set to move their longtime headquarters out of Times Square, now opting for a 100,000 square foot building at 430 West 15th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. The new building is in the heart of New York City’s Meatpacking District.
Confirmed by The Real Deal, Live Nation is reported to have subleased the new building from the current tenant – Palantir Technologies. Live Nation currently leases a 230,000 square foot building at 220 West 42nd Street through a twenty year deal completed in 2000 via the company’s former embodiment as SFX Entertainment. According to the report, Live Nation has sublet much of its former space to other companies.
The new headquarters for Live Nation shares the neighborhood with Google and retail stores such as Apple and Samsung.
