Nicki Minaj confirmed in a tweet this morning (Jan. 5) that she and rapper Meek Mill have indeed broken up.

According to the tweet, Minaj is now on focusing on making her upcoming album. Aside from a remix to Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” and features on songs like DJ Khaled’s “Hold You Down” and Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side”, Minaj did not release much music in 2016.
We’ll just have to wait and see what she has in store for 2017.
