On April 12, rapper Lil Dicky released a music video for his song “Pillow Talking,” off his 2016 debut album Professional Rapper.
The 11-minute video features actor John C. Reilly as God, as well as animated CGI dinosaurs, aliens, and a rapping brain. A press release accompanying the video claims the video to be the 49th most expensive video ever, putting it at a budget of around $700,000 USD.
“Pillow Talking” comes off of Dicky’s 2016 debut Professional Rapper. Recent visuals from the album, including “Molly” (featuring Brendon Urie), “$ave Dat Money” (featuring Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan), and “Professional Rapper” (featuring Snoop Dogg), have over 13 million, 70 million, and 49 million views on YouTube, respectively.
