Travis Scott Breaks World Record Performing “goosebumps” 14 Times In One Night

by Malachi Weaver

Until recently, the record for the most amount of times a song was performed in a single concert was held by Jay-Z and Kanye West – when the pair performed “Ni**as in Paris” a total of 12 times in Paris back in 2012.

Travis Scott broke that record this past Friday (May 12) when he performed “goosebumps”, from his album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, 14 times. Scott performed the song at an Oklahoma City show, part of his Birds Eye View Tour.

In a video posted to YouTube, Scott can be heard asking if thirteen times would be enough to break the “In Paris” record, then saying he’d perform it a 14th time “just in case.”

“Is that number 13?” Scott asked. “I want y’all ni**as to know we just broke a record … I’mma do 14 just in case they try and be like ‘Nah, that’s not it.’”

This isn’t the first time Scott has made news on his Birds Eye View Tour either. He gave this record-breaking performance right after being released on bail for “inciting a riot” in Arkansas. At a show in New York’s Terminal 5, fans jumped from a balcony three stories high and at least one fan broke both legs.

It seems anything really can happen at the night show…
