Sam Hunt is engaged to the muse of his new song “Drinkin’ Too Much,” confirmed by the singer’s rep to People.
The song, which was released on New Year’s Eve, is about Hunt’s on and off relationship with Hannah Lee Fowler – the subject of many of his songs from his debut album, Montevallo.
“I’m sorry I named the album Monevallo,” the song starts, referring to the singer naming the song after the Alabama town where Fowler is from. “I’m sorry people know your name now, and strangers hit you up on social media.”
