Gucci Mane Reveals First-Ever Tour

by Malachi Weaver

Gucci Mane has been very busy since coming out of prison last year, releasing multiple albums in a span of months and providing a slew of features on many top songs by other artists. Showing no plans of slowing down, Gucci Mane has now announced plans for a new tour – his first ever.

Called the TrapGod Tour, Gucci Mane will start in Boston on April 5 at the House of Blues and continue to do shows until back-to-back shows at the JMBLYA Festival in May.

While Gucci has performed many times live before, the makes the first time he is going on an official tour on his own.

Gucci Mane spoke recently on his desire to tour in his cover shoot for CR Men’s Book. “I’m a hell of a recording artist, but I want to be a better live performer,” he told Marilyn Manson. “I just want it to be like a big party. I want people to sweat. I don’t want people to come trying to look all pretty. No, I want you to leave this concert wet as hell, like you’ve been working out for damn near an hour and a half.”

Gucci announced in January that his next album will be titled Drop Top Wizop, but a release date has not been announced yet. Ticket sales for the TrapGod Tour will go on sale Feb. 24.
