On Monday (Jan. 16), Young Thug dropped the video for his song “Wyclef Jean” – in which he does not appear at all.
In the video, director Ryan Staake claims that while he “co-directed” the video with Young Thug, the two “never met each other.”
“In fact,” says Staake, “he never showed up for any of our shots.”
Staake goes on to describe how and why the entire video was filmed without Young Thug and attempts to show what the video would have been like had Thug been in it.
