Wale Raps In Spanglish In New ‘Colombia Heights (Te LLamo) (feat. J Balvin)’ Video

by Malachi Weaver

Wale teamed up with Reggaeton star J Balvin for his latest music video “Colombia Heights (Te Llamo).” The song comes from Wale’s fifth studio album Shine, which came out in April.

Wale uses “Colombia Heights”, a reference to the neighborhood in the rapper’s home of Washington, DC, to show off his Spanish speaking skills. The rapper has bars like “Te llamo no bueno, FaceTime with your woman,” as well as “Mira mami tranquila, Mira mami tranquila/ Meet up then kick your feet up, relátaje conmigo.”
