Taylor Swift Earns 20th Country Airplay Top 10 As A Writer With “Better Man” by Little Big Town

Little Big Town’s “Better Man” has peaked at No. 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart dated January 21. This elevation marks achievements for both the band and the song’s writer Taylor Swift.

The lead single from LBT’s eighth studio album, The Breaker (due Feb. 24), “Better Man” has become Little Big Town’s eighth Country Airplay Top 10 – their first since “Girl Crush,” which hit No. 3 in August 2015.

“Better Man” also makes Taylor Swift’s 20th Country Airplay Top Ten as a writer, her first since her self-written “Red,” which peaked at No. 7 in December 2013. Of all of her previous 19 top 10s as a writer Swift recorded all but Kellie Pickler’s “Best Days of Your Life,” which she co-wrote with Pickler.

Of her twenty top 10s as a writer, Swift wrote 11 by herself.
