Funded and coordinated by Chicago Beyond, the Go Innovate Challenge is a “think tank of ideas,” as Chance called it. Teens as young as 13 years old are able to submit videos no longer than 90 seconds to describe their project and how it would “positively affect the city of Chicago.”
Chance announced the initiative with Liz Dozier, Chicago Beyond’s managing director, in a Facebook live video on June 14. The organization will be taking submissions until July 7.
